In the pink!
The design for the tulip cushion was inspired by a trip to the U.K. It was spring and tulips where everywhere! All colours, shapes and sizes. I saw them growing under trees, in parks, formal gardens, on window ledges, in paintings and florist shops.
For an Australian where tulips are exotic flowers, bought at a florist, it was a real treat! I had tulip-mania, and immediately started sketching ideas for needlepoint designs. This beautiful cushion is the result.
Two colour options

The yellow version of Tulipmania
I have stitched both the pink and yellow colour ways and enjoyed both enormously. The bold background trellis is fun to work and each of the tulips are quick and easy. You can watch your cushion grown just like the tulips in your garden.
